That’s why Disabling Barriers’ goal is to seek out unmet needs and fill those gaps to support children and young adults with disabilities.
Physical, Speech, Behavioral and Occupational Therapy, Hippotherapy, Aquatic Therapy, Music Therapy, Waiver Case Management Awareness, Prosthetics, etc.
Mobility Aids, Hearing Aids, Cognitive Aids, Software/Hardware, Communication Devices and Technologies, Physical Modifications, Adaptive Services, etc.
Respite Care, Nursing and Certified Nursing Assistant Care, Custodial Care, Help with Activities of Daily Living, Personal Care and Homemaker Services, etc.
Transition Assistance, Housing Services, Guardian Assistance, Transportation Support.
Community Sports and Recreation Programs, Special Olympics, Group and Social Activities, etc.
Adult Education and Job Training Programs, Comprehensive Postsecondary Transition (CPT) Programs, Life Skills Programs, Job Placement Services, Tutoring, etc.
